Japan x Reader- Owl Night

    "Hey, Kiku!" you called out, waving to your long-time friend.

    Even from across the court-yard, he could still hear you and turned around. He slightly waved when Im nudged him your way. Yao and Kaoru did the same until he walked toward you on his own.

    He deeply bowed. "Konnichiwa, ____-san." You giggled. "Aw, Kiku, you don't need to bow to me; just like a wave or something is good." Kiku bobbed his head up and down.

    "Anyways," you continued, "we're all set for tonight, right?"

    Tonight was the monthly "Video Game Night Owl Night" according to Alfred, who also had a part in it. You simply referred to it as "Owl Night" though. The point of it was to try to stay up until sunrise by playing video games, watching anime and drinking coffee.

    It was usually just Kiku and Alfred, but they invited you to join them this month. You were all bringing a few video games and snacks to Owl Night. You were additionally in charge of the coffee because you guys were going to need it.

    "Hai, Alfred-san and I already have our things ready. Are you prepared as well?"

    You grinned brightly. "Of course I am; I've been ready for it all week!"

    "Then, we'll meet up with you later." You waved him good-bye as he joined his fellow Asians in the shade of the tree. Even from far, you heard Im claim Kiku's "man-breasts" and Kiku kicking and screaming for him to "prease ret" him go.

    You couldn't help but laugh.

    "Yo, she's here, Keeks!" Alfred exclaimed after opening the door to him you. Kiku walked into the living room and nodded. "Then we're ready to start." It was 9:00 on the dot.

    You set down everything on the coffee table, along with everything else, and sat on the plush couch. "This is going to be so awesome!" you said in a sing-song voice.

    "Heck yeah!" Alfred agreed, spinning in a tight circle, punching the air. "We're ganna stay up all night playing video games and snacking!" Honestly, you wanted to stand up and do your own Happy Dance, but you were pretty sure you'd embarrass yourself.

    Kiku lightly chuckled. "Alright, let's start then." He handed you and Alfred each a controller, getting one for himself last.

    You and the guys started out with Mario Kart, the winning player rotating between the three of you. Then, after a few minutes of you and Alfred playfully arguing over the ultimate winner (which, by the way, ended up being Kiku somehow), you switched to yet another Mario game.

    In short, the first few hours was purely filled with Mario games. Then, the next hour or two with a shooter game.

    That's when everyone started to get sleepy. You yawned. "You guys have a coffee maker right?" Alfred lazily nodded and pointed to the kitchen. You stood up, and walked to where the blonde had pointed.

    In only a few minutes, the coffee was done. You brought two cups to the living room and set them on the table. "Thanks a bunch, dudette." Alfred took a quick sip from his cup and suddenly looked less drowsy. Kiku thanked you as well. "It's no problem." Then, you got your own mug of coffee and sat besides Kiku on the couch. "What did I miss?"

    Kiku answered, watching the American on the floor play intently, "Alfred-kun is trying to beat my record for this game and he's coming really close to doing so." Just as he finished speaking, the American stood up. "I did it, dudes! I beat Keeks' score!" He started dancing again.

    You happily laughed and congratulated him, "That's great~"

    It was four in the morning, and Alfred was asleep on the floor.

    You and Kiku were sleepy too.

    And, you were all out of coffee.

    The blonde snored then mumbled, "K-Keeks... ____... You're cheating..."

    You sighed, "Even in his sleep, Al plays video games." True enough. He had his arms stretched in front of him on the floor and his hands kept moving as if he held a controller.

    "Hai, he does that."

    You and Kiku were watching... something. You weren't exactly aware of what it was, but it was keeping you up, so you were fine with it.

    Alfred turned and his glassed fell from his face. You picked him up and placed them on the coffee table for when he woke up. Then, you quickly threw a blanket over him; he immediately wrapped himself in it like a burrito. "Geeze it A-"

    You would've finished what you were saying, but you loudly yawned.

    "You're just as tired as I am then." You nodded in reply. You were so sleepy, but you and Kiku kept watching what it was you were watching.

    Kiku fell asleep by the next episode and you thought What the heck? Everyone is sleeping and I'm as tired as ever.

    With that, you curled up on the couch and used Kiku's lap as a pillow.

    Unfortunately, Kiku woke up before you, so he woke up "viorated".
